Do you know the difference between a Toner and an Essence? Since I’ve been exploring #kbeauty products I’ve learned a lot more about these essentials so let me share a bit with y’all…
TONERS:
💦 Usually a thin, watery consistency
💦 Often used for balancing skin’s pH levels - which is crucial after the cleansing step(s)
💦 Ideal for removing any residue
💦 Different toners specific to your skin’s needs: like hydrating, exfoliating, calming, etc…
ESSENCES:
💦 Usually more viscous, not as thin/watery
💦 Best used AFTER toners
💦 Ideal for skin that needs more moisture
💦 Preps skin for next steps of your routine
💦 Soothes skin for smoother, overall healthier skin barrier & enhances the effect of serums!
💛 My Basic Routine Order is ~ Cleanser/Toner/Essence/Serums/Actives/Moisturizers/Oil
