Product Review: The Hand Cream from Facetheory

The Chirosmooth Hand Cream from Facetheory has quickly become a go-to in my collection. I have some tried & true must-haves but I was starting to run low and decided to try something new. Fun!

This hand cream contains:

Korean Rice

Omega-6 rich Rice bran oil

5% Urea

It definitely Softens & hydrates my Uber-dry, over washed hands!! Even after a few washes, my hands remain hydrated. It’s a keeper ðŸ’œ

Like all Facetheory products, this rich hand cream contains a high concentration of actives so a very small amount goes a long way...

💜💜 Comment below with your fave hand cream.

Skincare Series: Dynamic Duos

Today I’m back with another entry in my Dynamic Duo Series: Episode 3

“The Energizing Eye Kit” from Good Molecules includes their highly-acclaimed Yerba Mate Wake up Eye Gel + their Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches

What is Yerba Mate?? It’s a tree indigenous to South America.

Did you know: Good Molecules sources their Yerba Mate from a consortium of farmers engaged in forest restoration of the native Atlantic Forest of Brazil! Very cool!!

The Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel:

🌿Created to brighten, depuff & hydrate

🌿Can be used in both your am & pm routines - at night I layer it with a rich eye cream which helps “seal it in” and sorta creates an eye mask situation.

💥My Results: Honestly, I was doubtful but stand corrected because it does waken up & brighten my tired eyes. It’s subtle, but I’ll take it!  This also adds back some much needed moisture - while helping to sooth my skin & soften fine lines!!  I do prefer this light, gel formula for my nighttime routine.

💥 Pro tip: I find that the key to optimal benefit is to gently press in the gel as you slowly move your ring finger outwards towards corner of eyes.

The Energizing Hydrogel Eye Patches:

🌿Caffeine-infused eye masks that offer a very cooling & hydrating effect. Said to brighten, hydrate & reduce puffiness.

🌿Sleepless night?? This is just what you need to look well-rested! To reduce puffy under eyes, wear for 10 minutes then tap in excess. The HA will help boost moisture and the Niacinamide will soften fine lines.

Let me know if you’ve tried either of these eye products from Good Molecules!

Product Review: Grown Alchemist

Minimal Monday vibes with Grown Alchemist...

Grown Alchemist utilizes a holistic scientific approach to create innovative formulas capable of slowing and even reversing the signs of skin aging.

🌱The Mandarin/Rosemary Leaf Body Cream has been a lovely introduction to their “Biological Beauty” products. ðŸŒ±

💚 Soothes dry skin

💚 Restores elasticity

💚 Powered by Bioactive ingredients like Shea Butter, Almond & Rosehip oils, and Vitamin C.

✅ Pros: Excellent for very dry skin - think knees & elbows. Glides on easily & absorbs quickly

✅ Cons: At US$26 for 4.23oz it’s a wee bit pricey but a little bit really goes a long way and you “get what you pay for” with this cream.

Some of their best-sellers include the Hydra-Restore Cream Cleanser, Age-Repair Serum & the Antioxidant+ Facial Oil. Next I think I’ll grab one of their serums...💚

🌱 Have you tried any of the products from Grown Alchemist? Which is your favorite?

Best Hand Cream for Dry Skin

Hand and Nail Treatment from Clarins delivers the softest hands and also strengthens nails.

How cute is the 2020 Advent Calendar from Clarins - it features multiple full size products plus luxe travel sizes... all for just $60.00. The note-worthy Beauty Flash Balm retails for $49.00 so for just a few dollars more you can sample a wide variety of amazing products like the Hand and Nail Treatment.

I love the hand treatment which smells divine and really gives your dry skin the hydration it needs this winter. I live at high altitude near Park City, Utah where the relative humidity is extremely low. It creates the very best snow for skiing but wrecks havoc on your skin. Made even worse with all the excessive hand washing! Fortunately I’ve found relief with the luxury hand cream - thanks Clarins.
