MY EXPERIENCE

This Glycerin based cream feels silky and luxurious but not at all heavy. It’s actually nicely delicate! Glides on beautifully without any greasy, oily or sticky feel…absorbs perfectly after a few minutes. I feel that after I massage it in and it absorbs that it plumps up the lines on my neck. I’ve been using twice daily for over one month and definitely notice a softening of lines and some improvement to the dreaded crepy skin! I’ve not noticed any “sculpting” action but that’s ok, I didn’t really have expectations for that. I do see improvements to the deeper lines on my dΓ©colletage ☺️ and will be looking forward to some long-term benefits!

$49.99/50ml

Thanks so much to IMIM Skincare for sending over this powerhouse neck cream! Discover more of their products at their IG feed or website! www.imimskincare.com

Alya Skin

πŸ’— The Power of Pink Australian Pink Clay Mask from Alya Skin πŸ’—

This Pink Clay Mask from @alyaskinaus is said to be safe for sensitive skin which is what first intrigued me - I’ve always loved the idea of clay masks but they’ve mostly been a bit too drying for my skin type. I first dipped my toes (quite literally) into clay masking when I visited the historical red clay mud baths at the Glen Ivy Hot Springs spa in Southern California. My next mud bath experience was in New Zealand when I soaked in the mineral rich muds & sulfur waters in Rotorua...

Fast forward to this unique pink clay from Australia which is not too drying like typical Red Kaolin clay, because it also features the moisturizing effects of White Kaolin clay...πŸ’— Pink clay is said to draw out impurities while also adding moisture to help replenish skin.

This mask is also loaded with anti-inflammatory silica to improve skin elasticity = major points for me!

Claims:

✔️ Detoxifies & Brightens

✔️ Tightens Pores

✔️ Extracts Pollutants

✔️ Reduces Inflammation

✔️ Safe for Sensitive Skin

Since I have dry/sometimes sensitive skin I follow a specific routine when using this mask:

First off - the experience is lovely, featuring a light rose scent with a gooey consistency that reminds me of whipped marshmallows. That sounds weird but it’s not πŸ’— It’s so cool!

I apply to clean skin prior to a shower or bath so the bathroom is nice and steamy - why because I don’t actually want it to dry down. I want it stay moist... I also don’t leave on the full recommended 10 minutes. Instead, I jump on in the shower and with damp hands massage it in for a few minutes.

Just rinse off and then later follow up with all the hydrating products πŸ’—πŸ’— The results for me are an instant glow, reduced redness & decongested pores!

What do you think of clay masks?? Do you already use in your routine?

Crème du LOCH - Product Appreciation Post

πŸ’šπŸ’›CrΓ¨me du Loch - Age with Confidence πŸ’›πŸ’š

This is a luxurious age-defying cream; an elegantly refined moisturizer expertly crafted with innovative Kelp Extract from the Scottish Coast - nature’s superfood known for its abundant skin benefits!

πŸ’šFamily Owned

πŸ’šBritish Skincare Brand

πŸ’šCruelty Free

πŸ’šVegan

πŸ’šResponsibly Sourced Ingredients

From the moment I opened the jar and caught the sumptuous scent of cucumber, rosehip & sweet almond oils, I knew I would enjoy this one. A densely rich & thick cream replete with kelp + a retinol complex, offers the most luxuriously relaxing ritual when I gently massage onto my face, neck & dΓ©colletage. I’m always pleasantly surprised at how effortlessly this absorbs into skin without any heavy feel or oily residue.

It’s said to reduce fine lines, tighten pores, improve texture, even out skin tone & promote a radiant glow...I can’t say for sure yet about these claims but I will say that my skin feels softer & looks plumped & hydrated! I’ll be sure to come back with an update after using for a few months.

Key Ingredients from Nature:

πŸ’šKelp Extract

πŸ’šCucumber Seed Oil

πŸ’šGlobe Daisy

πŸ’šCranberry Seed Oil

πŸ’šRosehip Oil

πŸ’šWhite Poppy Seed

πŸ’šChamomile Oil

πŸ’šAlfalfa

I’m so pleased that I was able to grab this during their sale!! And, so looking forward to the upcoming launch of their new age-defying serum...

Product Review: IT Cosmetics

Confidence in a Cleanser from IT Cosmetics:

I bought this one a whim during the ULTA 50% off sales - and so glad I did!!

Did you know: the co-founder of IT Cosmetics was a news anchor who collaborated with plastic surgeons to create the best skincare products when she was unable to find the ideal solutions for her own skincare issues. Cool!!

This skin softening cleanser is:

•Ultra hydrating serum/cleanser hybrid.

•Ideal for sensitive skin

•Sulfate & soap-free formula packed with ceramides, collagen & HA!

It’s a very pleasant cream-serum formula that does indeed gently clean my skin & delivers a lot of hydration. YAY!

Rave views on Sephora, Ulta & the brand’s website with the many reviewers saying they would highly recommend. A very common review was “pleasantly surprised” - which is exactly what my initial thoughts were!

Next - I think I’ll try their Confidence in a Cream Hydrating Moisturizer...

Don’t forget about your hands!

It’s Hand Care Awareness Day!

Not really - I just made that up, but it should be a thing!! I do adore a good hand cream though...

πŸ– I know everyone’s washing their hands more than usual & doing lots of disinfecting so using copious amounts of hand cream is probably part of the new norm.

πŸ– However - it’s ideal to use hand cream products featuring anti-aging formulas like the Super Retinol Anti-Aging Hand Treatment from Beauty Pie which provides smoothing & renewing.

This is a fab nighttime cream.

πŸ– Fun Fact: I also like to use anti-aging products that perhaps didn’t work out so well on my face - like the Retinol treatment from The Inky List,  repurposed as a nighttime hand treatment - I follow this with a rich hand cream πŸ‘‰ During the daytime, be sure to wear sunscreen!!
